Types of O8 Invoices

The purpose of this page is to clearly explain the different types of invoices you may receive from O8 and how to interpret them. Our goal is to make billing as transparent and straightforward as possible.

There are two primary categories of invoices you may see:

• Retainer invoices
• Project invoices

You may also occasionally receive Overages invoices in specific situations.

Budget Pull invoices are a special informational type that we'll cover after the main invoice types.

1. Retainer Invoices

Summary: These invoices are tied to your ongoing monthly or recurring agreement with O8.

Retainer invoices typically:

• Reflect your agreed monthly or periodic retainer amount.
• Are billed on a regular schedule (for example, monthly in advance).
• May be associated with a predefined scope or number of hours.

Payment expectations:

• Retainer invoices include a due date.
• These invoices must be paid on or before the due date in order to avoid any disruption to ongoing services.
• In the event of late payment, your AM or another member of the O8 team may reach out to coordinate next steps.
